This is a reply to both of you at the same time. I wasn't here much of day 2 I was checking in from my phone, I just now have been re-reading it to see what I missed and update the votes in the spreadsheet. I remembered that Charlou had an item but I didn't remember the character off the top of my head. Since I have been re-reading I have figured out I missed it in the my spreadsheet bc you were the first to out and I wasn't tracking it then. I have been updating what I have missed being away from a computer most of yesterday and today. I do not have an issue with you Charlou and I'm sure I have made similar mistakes with other players who haven't taken it so personally.irretating wrote:That is odd. Much was made of it. Mort, were you not paying attention on day 2?Charlou wrote:I didn't miss it .. I think it's odd that you would miss my outing and need it pointed out to you, particularly in light of the part it ended up playing with irre's role that has since become so contentious. In light of the other mistakes you made, I just found it significantly odd .. Is it scummy ...or a wider issue you have with me, in particular ...Morticia wrote:I did say I wasn't sure on you or Feck, did you miss that part?

Re: Simpsons Day 3
Also I am not scum. Just a little disconnected from the game right now.
Re: Simpsons Day 3
That said. What I have been doing is looking at what Callan was up to. I don't know her play at all so analysis will be light. She was all over exposing the ass-raping being done by Irre and his cleared town. Does this serve as proof to their claims then?
Re: Simpsons Day 3
I have noticed Feck and Callan were the only two who left their votes on you yesterday and didn't move them to the bandwagon on me or on galls. This would not be typical of Feck's scum game as he would have not made such an obvious mistake.Mantisdreamz wrote:I really get the feeling Denny is town.DennyB wrote:I have to spend some time with my family.
Vote for Ani and we should see I am town.
Lynch me tonight while I'm gone and you will lynch another town.
f0s Gib for what should be obvious. She seemed to be playing a town game but refused to answer my questions regarding hor many town she voted for or fos'd
Good night
DP as well. He asked to be lynched at one point during the game.
Mononoke, I think is town.
Charlou - yes.
Irre, gib & oblivion - probably.
Maybe Feck is the SK.
Re: Simpsons Day 3
Well the lynch is going to happen soon. We'll see what happens then. I'm fairly convinced that ani is not town
Re: Simpsons Day 3
There's that assraping word again.
Mort, I'm not bothered by it enough to take it personally in any kind of offended way .. just wanted to clear it up if it exists.

Re: Simpsons Day 3
Someone mentioned itchy and scratchy earlier which was something I had considered too .. I wonder if we have an itchy and a scratchy independently killing players .. This is a far fetched idea, but perhaps not even a scum team, as such, just a couple of indies picking us off ... the balance would be in the fact that there's so much confusion about what's going on... oblivion, has anyone ever designed a game like that?
hmmm ... yeah, far fetched .. but I just thought I'd put it out there.

Re: Simpsons Day 3
Yes people have done that. Usually they pit two or more town factions against each other and throw some indie killers in so that there are kills to think about.Charlou wrote:Someone mentioned itchy and scratchy earlier which was something I had considered too .. I've done two designs like that. In one, there were a few recruitable players. If one of the SKs targeted one of the recruitable players, instead of being killed they were recruited, and the SK became a baby scum team.
The other game that had an indie killer but no scum was the Oz mafia.
but, in this game Callan was the scum role blocker. that would indicate that there's a scum team, no?
Re: Simpsons Day 3
I mentioned itchy and scratchy yesterday when we saw the beheading nk. someone else mentioned them today. I'll have to see who it was.

It was gib.gib wrote:Plus the mafia charcters in the simpsons don't behead people. I distracted myself so much with the itchy/scratchy idea and the various ways that might fit into this game .. I had a lapse there.
It's not unusual for there to be more than two teams (town and scum) and the GM not mention it, is it? For example, there was a mason team last game, but no hint about a third team was given to the other players.

Re: Simpsons Day 3
No more unusual than games with more than 2 teams are. I like to hide teams in my game designs. but you have to have a fairly good number of players for it to work, so I don't do it very often.Charlou wrote:Of courseoblivion wrote:but, in this game Callan was the scum role blocker. that would indicate that there's a scum team, no?![]()
