Re: Venture Bros: day 1
Err, when you outed that shizzle had claimed the same character as you, you didn't highlight that hank was listed three times in the list of potential characters. Why would I have noticed that?Magicziggy wrote:Just read the thread backwards. Irre is voting for herself because scum got the don voted in last game.
Her vote on shizzle is bothering me. Its the complete logic fail about Matt's hank claim. She says it's more likely that the gm would fuck up a scum safe claim over a town role pm. That doesn't compute. I'd vote her if I didn't have the nagging suspicion she were trying to get lynched.
So... massive FoS on you for this.
In fact, ##unvote shizzle## ##vote MZ##

Yes, exactly. If I were town and Hank, and someone claimed my character, I think the first thing I'd do is look at the character list. But no, MZ says 'oh let's trust shizz (whiteknight alert) and probably GM screw up' and STILL votes shizzle.gib wrote:explain to me what you were thinking here pleaseMagicziggy wrote:Now I have reason to lynch you.MattShizzle wrote:To reiterate if MZ was scum he'd be dumb to claim the same as me as once I was lynched and my role confirmed he'd be lynched - and 1 scum for 1 VT is good for town. I would almost say we should both be lynched but I wonder about weird roles. Town should still consider lynching both of us...

Oh, and MZ's "irre is voting for herself because the don got voted in last game" is so beyond dumb that it defies him being town.
For day 1, I'm extremely happy with my vote.

LOL how about you take my post IN CONTEXT. I was replying to andrew, who has played a total of one game here.irretating wrote:That game was weird, I've never seen so many scum push a mayor BW like that.andrewclunn wrote:The only other time I've played here scum was selected as mayor. I figure that since scum can subtly promote each other that a randomly selected mayor is just as good (better in fact because statistically you're going to choose town.) Of course if DP ends up being scum this will make me look bad, but them's the breaks.charlou wrote:Hello.
Anything about DP's gameplay so far that leads you to think he's a good choice for mayor, Andrew?

Jester is a hackneyed and dumb call 99 times out of 100. As is it here. I'm not jester.
You, on the other hand.... anyhow, I've made my case and put my vote down. Others will decide where to put their votes.

Anyway, more importantly, who's scum? Gib and mantis are looking like persons of interest.

You had to actually remove the post I quoted, that put my words in context. How scummy is that.Magicziggy wrote:Re^^How else would you have me interpret this then?irretating wrote:

I'm not going to play into your hands, where people might think this is town-on-town bickering. I'm town, but I don't think you are.

You know what it's like phone posting. I'll read again in full.
However all I'm saying is you look so scummy to me you can't possibly actually be scum. I'm not the only one who thinks you look shaky either.

Because if she's Town she can be viewed and use her Scum-finding powers for goodness and justice and decency, etc., etc., and I'll take my chances that if she's wrong about one or two, I'll be able to make my own decisions based on my own reasoning.
And if she's Scum, an extra half-vote early on isn't the end of the world (unless too many Townies wimp out on voting, in which case, to hell with you - Bitter? Moi?), and I'll take my chances that the other good players will sus her out and we'll be rid of her before it's too late.
Going to read a LITTLE bit about the flavour. But not too much. Yeah, this might be a different Amok playing this game. Less kind, less gentle. And yeah, I said the same thing at the beginning of the last game over there, and then backslid into a trolley-tracking, nit-picking, detail-obsessed disaster for Town. I'm going to try hard to be hard, this time.

I think you should be mayor amok
