Just a reminder that viewing the mayor is pointless if we've elected the don for mayor .. in other words a "town" read on the mayor means nothing and is a wasted view. I think the seer should view someone who they think looks scummy or who they think might be a town special. The latter is useful too, because the seer can then try to post in a way that protects the town special.
mononoke has posted once but not added anything practical to the game. I'm going to vote mononoke because of this posts which shows he has at least followed mafia elsewhere:

Yeah she single handedly won the game at ratskep.
vote mononoke

I'm getting more comfortable with the Mantis BW actually... she fluff posted, then voted a player based on a prior game, then took her vote off then just mayor voted...mononoke voted, at least
unvote vote mantis

who knows that at this stage of the game?
If we vote someone for mayor and is views as innocent (and is not don) they will likely be killed by scum.

mononoke asked a question about the mayor, trying to look new and naive .. but knows enough to know gallstones played a good game elsewhere. If he/she doesn't get lynched today, I'd like an explanation for this anomaly from mononoke.

Why .. scum know who the innocents are already. They don't need a seer's guidance about this.

Yep not making an appearance is the most scummy thing one can do (or teach people that playing mafia means actually participating)
Dude, I did show up alot yesterday but nothing was happening. All this activity happened after I went to bed. I live in Sri Lanka so the time timezones are completely different.

Because of the 'benefit' of office i.e. the extra half vote

Charlou makes an excellent point, which I did not pick up on before. I was just generally suspicious of liberal intent on his/her part. I'm wondering if I should change my vote.

What point, exactly? Mononoke played the last game on ratskept (and was on the winning team with gallstones)... it was his inaugural game. Have good reasons to vote to lynch him, is all I ask, as a gun-totin' alien shootin' good citizen...

I played a game over at ratskep, where they didn't have this mayor business. Gallstone was on my team and she won the game for us. Plenty of people here can confirm this

the bandwagon on mononoke seems a bit obama-loving for my tastes... I voted because higgs said he was a no-show... clearly he's not.. and yes, he's a n00b

I have suspicions about you Irrelevant. First you voted for me for no reason claiming it was to get a conversation started. Then you voted for ani for mayor for a gay reason. Then you voted for Totals without much explanation other than him not showing up yet. Then you suggest Feck for viewing. Then you change your vote from totals who still hadn't shown up for mononoke who had actually posted and stated that he hadn't posted. Then you try to sway Totals to vote for mononoke. Then you jump on the Mantis bandwagon. And then call me out for voting for someone (mononoke) without good reason. Btw I didn't vote for mononoke I just agreed that he sounded suspicous and maybe a consideration for vote change was necessary. Are you really paying attention.
