This is particular to Canada, but may have interest outside. It's worth setting a few minutes aside to read this article.

I think it is a tough issue, but one which needs to be addressed differently.

The 'Walsh Question' 'What Is A Woman?' I'll put an answer here when someone posts one that is clear and comprehensible, by apostates to the Faith.
Update: I've been offered one!

I think the nitrogen method is the way forward. There are currently no restrictions on buying it, and several states are looking at it as a method of execution. I have little doubt I'll take my own life, if capable and unlucky enough not to be felled like an ox by a massive stroke or heart attack. I wonder if nitrous oxide works the same way? Go out with a laugh.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

I think it's an issue for Philo, or Current Events, not the Seminary forum.

Re: Assisted Suicide and Law
It is a difficult subject indeed. Some people of course just approach the subject with denial. My father died last year and I was with him until a couple of hours before (he was in the later stages of lung cancer which head spread to his stomach). He wasn't in much if any pain thankfully, but he either did not believe, or refused to believe he was about to die. For him that offered something to keep the fear at bayI0 suspect. It is a hurdle one would have to get past for assisted suicide to be an option.
