Re: Which camera do I want?
I just read through some reviews on it. Very nice!

Nice!!!! The things I don't like about my Sony DSC-H10 is all sorted out in this camera. More zoom and an adjustable screen.

The auto focus is awesome. I ran it around the store at max zoom and it reacted quite nicely to changes in distant. (People were wondering why I was spinning around like drunk, but there were none brave enough to question me. )

A four star chef can make a splendid omelet on a rusty saucepan, while the average housecoock requires teflon to get anything but mess.Gawdzilla Sama wrote:Good tools help.Dries van Tonder wrote:A facebook thingy I read the other night:
A famous photographer was invited to dinner by a famous socialite in New York. When he arrived, he was met by the host. "I really admire your work, you must have a fantastic camera!' The photographer did not reply. After dinner, he said: "The food was wonderful. You really must have a terrific stove."
About the camera: speed, speed and speed? (zoom, focus and shutter).
I've noticed I see fairly little quality differences between my pocketcam and dslr, while I loose a lot of pics with the pocketcam, because the event has disappeared when the camera is finally ready to click.

Re: Which camera do I want?
I'm very happy with my new Canon Powershot S100. I like the pocket size form factor because it means I actually carry a camera now more often than I would with a large DSLR. It can shoot quickly if you just press the shutter button all the way down and force it to take the shot, but there is a slight delay. Now, if they'd just add a cell phone and MP3 player to it, it would be perfect.

I put the Nikon P510 on hold yesterday. The damn insurance company had better come through with that check.
