The discussion was in response to a video by a chap named Michael Tsarion who espouses the theory that the white race was genetically engineered in Atlantis by aliens! Of course we all jolly well had to spread our new found superiority to the lesser races around the world.

My oppo didn't accept that this was thinly veiled white supremacist, eugenic bullshit and trotted out the old "Darwin was a racist" routine in defence.

Actually it is the case that political correctness makes most of us shy away from the whole area of 'racial difference'. There are of course differences - you just have to look FFS!

But woe betide anyone who tried to start exploring those differences academically!
