I don't get it... What new research?

It's been known for decades that some theropoda had a non carnivorous diet, in some kinds non exclusively carnivorous.
The most numerous species still were exclusive predators, even if some specialized in insects or fish.

The "news" is only news to the folks who weren't paying attention over there. "Walking with Dinosaurs" broke this news. :nono:

You shouldn't mock this. It's potentially the greatest breakthrough in dinosaur science.

This is obviously why the dinosaurs died out. The got weak on nuts and berries. A warning from the past !

What the fook does the idiot think some dinos have big fooking teeth for, eating rhubarb?
“I wish no harm to any human being, but I, as one man, am going to exercise my freedom of speech. No human being on the face of the earth, no government is going to take from me my right to speak, my right to protest against wrong, my right to do everything that is for the benefit of mankind. I am not here, then, as the accused; I am here as the accuser of capitalism dripping with blood from head to foot.”

John Maclean (Scottish socialist) speech from the Dock 1918.
