House to propose abortion bills (to please their bills) to prevent taxpayer money being spent on abortion. Which is already the rule!
The Hill:
They will bring up the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which would require care to be given to an infant who survives an abortion procedure. Democrats have argued that a 2002 law already guarantees infants’ legal rights.
Another would permanently codify the Hyde amendment, which prohibits federal funding for abortion procedures, and expands the prohibition to bar federal funding for insurance plans that offer elective abortion.

Elective abortions are those deemed medically necessary - so putting women's health or lives at risk is to be enshrined in law. And they say the Patriarchy doesn't exist.

Abortion banning states will now have to move to block pharmacies:
Abortion Pills Can Now Be Offered at Retail Pharmacies, F.D.A. Says
Mifepristone, the first of two drugs in medication abortions, previously had to be dispensed only by clinics, doctors or a few mail-order pharmacies. Now, if local drugstores or chains like CVS agree to certain rules, they can provide it.
NYT
Telehealth/On line pharmacies could still send out the pills. The states have no way of stopping US mail.

Florida has not banned all abortion, so if it falls in the 15 weeks, this can be used.

Court attempts to overrule FDA, and essentially Biden or the agency continuing the approval.
Mifepristone has been FDA-approved since 2000 for use in combination with misoprostol to terminate pregnancies up to 10 weeks. Misoprostol, meanwhile, was first approved in 1988 for a different purpose: the prevention of gastric ulcers.

Used together in consult with a doctor, the two-medication regimen successfully terminates a pregnancy around 99.6% of the time, and has a 0.4% risk of major complications, according to the National Library of Medicine.

In court filings last month, the FDA said its approval of mifepristone came after extensive review of the scientific evidence. The agency called the lawsuit “extraordinary and unprecedented,” adding that the plaintiffs have asked the court to upend “longstanding scientific determination based on speculative allegations of harm offered in support of claims and arguments that are untimely, unexhausted, and without merit.”

The suit was filed in November by an anti-abortion group called Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine. They allege that the process the FDA used decades ago to evaluate and approve the drugs used for medication abortions — mifepristone and misoprostol — was unlawful and should be revoked.
Normally at this level of the system, only plaintiffs that had actual harm from a product can file. And really, nobody forced any of the women to use it.

Ensure that all women interested in medical abortion receive appropriate counseling regarding the risk of serious infection and death. Inform them that the risk of death appears to be 10 times greater with medical abortion than with surgical abortion, but that the death rate is very low (approximately 1 per 100,000) – about the same as the risk of death with a miscarriage, and much lower than the risk of death from a delivery.
Compare: 1/1,000,000 with surgical abortion through 63 days gestation

In 2020, the U.S. maternal mortality rate was 23.8 deaths per 100,000 live births, with 861 known deaths due to maternal causes. It is crucial to note that this is not the case in similar countries, and is far from an inevitability. The United States continues to be an outlier among industrialized nations, with a maternal mortality rate several times higher than other high-income countries.
