I think that language has a lot to do with interfering in our relationship to direct experience. A simple thing like metaphor will allows you to go to a place and say 'this is like that'. Well, this isn't like that. This is like this.

I can't. Their night of the long nails is already brewing. Apparently the public mutual support is a mask underneath which there is much in the way of P.M. bitch cliques forming.

I wonder who they'll oust first, the fruitcakes or the crackpots or the "do good faggot brigade" as one person describes some of their gay members to another in private.

There's no doubt it will implode. I thought this from the very first time I visited the forum in fact. It is just like the Marxist groups I used to frequent in RL back in the 70s..only more so! The dynamics are all there..

But we are here to complain about other stuff! Derail!

Should we take on 4chan?
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."
