I think that language has a lot to do with interfering in our relationship to direct experience. A simple thing like metaphor will allows you to go to a place and say 'this is like that'. Well, this isn't like that. This is like this.

Howzabout alerting security/management of the location, if not the police, if there is assault taking place? This is just bizarre.

Oh, my effing god.... that may well have set the bar for the most juvenile and childish thing I have seen yet....

I mean -- it rivals "gimme dat Christian side-hug -- gimme dat Christian side hug"..... only, at least the Christian side-hug was recommended for children.... this red, yellow and green bullshit is recommended for adults.

What a fucking joke these people are. They disgust me. They are the exact opposite of everything I respect and aspire to. I would never disown a child for being gay or bisexual. But, I'd consider it if they join Atheism+. What a load of horse shit.

Everyone gets a badge!!!! :woot:
Out of the people that ever were, almost all of them are dead.
There are way more dead people, and you're all gonna die
and then you're gonna be dead for way longer than you're alive.
Like that's mostly what you're ever gonna be.
You're just dead people that didn't die yet.

Cards? They need to hand out cards? Who are they calling socially inept?
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

That should be the text on one of the cards.

Lol. How many have they fucking made?

Advice for A Plussers:-
If you have to hand someone a card to tell them that your unhappy about them then you're probably the one who's socially inept.
Jus' sayin'. :smoke:
