With the apology these shitheads no longer hold their perceived high-ground, which I suspect is one of the main reasons PZ thingy has now suspended his membership here (after a couple childish hit-and-runs). PZ is now a disarmed has-been re this forum, and will probably head for the next target on his ever-increasing list. His list will alway increase. Once you start shit like this the task never ends.
Without the apology we would always have been running up the down escalator, prey to every PZ inspired school bully who headed our way.
If these idiots continue to come at us now that they have had their apology, it says much more about them than it does about this forum. They and their spurious arguments can now be dismissed for the fatuous shit-stirring crap they are, and what's more it can be done with evidence. If they don't want to listen then that is not our problem.
Nothing has been lost here; as far as I'm aware there is nothing stopping anybody else from opening a new taste-fee thread about anything they like.
The gain is that we have a few new friends.
