Because the last time that happened this place became poisonously divisive from being under unjust scrutiny. And like we need more of an undeservedly shit reputation. Many of us who come here to socialise and make/interact with friends used to be able to proudly recommend to other people that they join this forum, and now we - still! - would be too embarrassed to because of the persistent malignant reputation that resulted from that horrible chapter.
