Anonymous Takes Down TPM

Talking Points Memo, a liberal news site based in New York, has suffered a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack after posting mugshots of arrested members of Anonymous, the hacker group that attacked MasterCard and PayPal in an attempt to punish them for withdrawing the privileges of Wikileaks. Like many such groups wind up doing, this one is now attacking its friends.

They're hackers. By default, they have the emotional maturity and tactical thinking of twelve-year olds.
As it turns out, quite a few of them are not much older anyway.
