Samsa has been suspended for one year for receiving his third active warning. He suggested that Cito thinks like a schizophrenic and that was bang out
of order. He complains about being subject to abuse himself but then does the same to others. He was on probation and was told what would happen if
he received another warning. I hope when he comes here he will man up and accept responsibility and not start moving the goalposts by blaming every
one but himself for what has happened. Now Cito does reciprocate by putting Samsa down himself but however manages to do so by staying within the
rules which is something Samsa has difficulty with. A bit odd that given how he actually helped write the FUA. His comment pertaining to Cito s mental
state was completely unjustified and he should accept it as so. Making fun of someone by suggesting they may be mentally ill is just not on. And now he
has to suffer the consequences of that unfortunately but such is life

Yes it would but Rat Skep has more members and a more serious level of discourse and a stricter moderation policy so what you might get away with over here
you cannot over there. It seems to be getting out of hand because at least half a dozen members have left so far this year. The way the mods interpret the FUA
seems to be a constant irritant with some and it does not appear to be going away. There is also the problem of members coming here to let off steam since they
know they cannot over there and then returning as if nothing had happened. That rankles with other members who see it as being dishonest and deceitful and it is
actually not acceptable behaviour even though it may not be against the rules of either site. I am just an ordinary joe. I have no power or influence on how the place
is run and I try not to get involved in that side of things but I know that if things carry on as they have been then even more will be leaving at short notice [ but not me ]

It's not just the sometimes peculiar and/ or unevenly applied interpretation that irritates me. It's also that the moderators tend to be a bunch of officious, anally retentive busybodies who insist on micromanaging everything, even in places where there is no cause for micromanagement.

Late in June I posted something to which a member objected on the grounds that I misrepresented (via quote mining) another member. Initially, I denied that I misrepresented him, but then had second thoughts about that. My post was clumsily expressed. Within about 10 hours I had edited the offending post and apologised twice in subsequent ones, and that was the end of it.

Or so I thought. Five days later a mod posted this "General Modnote" in the official, baby-blue format:

I have always liked his dry sarcastic tone and so I am quite surprised others did not see the humour in his words
But he is a canny operator because he knows just how to push buttons yet still stay on the right side of the rules

I don't understand why posters have a problem with Cito, actually I don't understand anything Cito posts at all, I'm just a bit dim I guess. Whats with Theropod leaving as well, he's on par with Cali and Hash, there is something rotten in the State of Denmark if he's leaving.
