Good question! If I see the fat-faced little porker wandering around with his camera, I swear I'll trip him over and kick him in the guts. If he is there I am all the more determined to get folks to join me in turning our backs in silent protest when RD takes the stage. He can get that on camera!

Until we are sure that RD was fully in the loop on this one, and not taking Josh's and Andrew's bullshit at face value. I would hold back on this. So far, I am not aware of any e-mails where Richard has stated his case. I think we should give him some opportunity to explain at the conference. I too, fear the worst, because of previous "extinction events' in OT and VETS. If we prove that RD is indeed fully involved, then I will gladly join in.

Fiendish. Strontium Dog has 'Josh Timonen is a cunt' or something as his sig, if enough of us do that will it also poison future google searches both of the vanity and prospective future employer varieties?

In the near future, it'll show up in Urban Dictionary with like 65 entries complete with examples of using various forms of 'to Timonen' in a sentence. These examples will involve comparisons to things like the Hindenberg accident, the Challenger disaster, and the design that walkway at the Hyatt in Kansas City.

Just like San Francisco gays did with Santorum, I think we really do need to reclaim the word Timonen for ourselves. In fact can we just replace 'santorum' with 'timonen'?

He was pissed off himself at that time, had a kneejerk to a particular post, and later apologised and wished us well. Richard has unreasoned little outbursts that he later retracts from time-to-time - well, we all do I suppose - but it's definitely something I've observed with Richard.

I think/hope that he has learned something from that lesson, and from his dealings with those on the front page, who I must say generally behave in a far more petulant way than the vast majority of those on the forum ever did. He deals with them as a sort of benevolent and sometimes evidently weary leader figure - who wishes they would all just behave, but feels if he takes any affirmative action, they will likely go ballistic and do their utmost to verbally tear him a new arsehole before striding off. And he tends to want to understand why they're pissed off. Perhaps he could/would pay the forum crowd similar respect.
