Neither Scot Duchy's nor DaveDodo's opinions are particularly sensible to put it mildly, but being given warnings for them is just more demonstration for me that ratskep is run by a bunch of out of control prefects with swagger sticks. Even if I did agree with some of the weirder aspects of the increasingly Byzantine forum rules, the arbitrary interpretation and selective application of them stinks to high heaven. To me that forum reminds me of Golding's novel Lord of the Flies, but with this difference: Here the good guys are kicking the shit out of the arseholes any which way they can.

It's only because Dave said stuff about being a troll that I mentioned it.

Oh, alright.
To be honest, I'm pretty good at forgetting whatever it is that Dave and Scott say. There is a limit to RAM available, and their crap isn't worth storing on the HD.

Excuse me for going off at a tangent now. It's kind of fun - in a train wreck sort of way - to watch banned or suspended members of ratskep piling in here and obsessing about that evil forum. It's not so much fun observing how those outcasts, be they permanent or temporary, change the ambience of Rationalia for the worse by continuing with the style of behaviour for which they were banned or suspended over there.

While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.
Re: Rationalskepiticism,lol.
Yeah, I agree. If you defend an unpopular position vigorously and refuse to concede "defeat" merely because others think they have "won" the debate. Then they get upset if you don't accept their specious logic and self-serving and irrational arguments, and when you challenge their preconceptions and their ideology with logical arguments that they don't happen to agree with.Hermit wrote:Troll work? That's what happened to me. I wouldn't toe the party line and roll over which pissed people off so they had to call me a "troll" to get rid of me even though I wasn't trolling, I was just defending my position.

Is humour (even shite humour) no longer allowed by ratskeptions. This thread was to take the piss out of you ratskep joyless, ideologues, anti-free speech tossers, self important retarded wankstains and here you are sucking all the oxygen out of the thread. You are all a bunch of circle jerking, echo chamber, yes people. Rationalia will outlast ratscum by a country mile because the people you try to silence will just go somewhere else and mock you. Oh and fuck off.Paula1 wrote:Get a fucking life.DaveDodo007 wrote:Sounds more like a death knell. Not to worry as I have started drinking again and my suspension is coming to an end at ratskep. And, Fallible, yes, it's pretty quiet about these parts lately. We've sprung a slow leak, seems. A bit more outgoing than incoming. Need to get Ratz Marketing on it, except that there is no Ratz Marketing...
Shame it's slowed down round here, it used to be so lively and great for a lurk and a giggle.![]()

They still are and as feisty as ever, the woman at Rationalia are on a different astral plane; I have been torn a new one in arguments with both Bella and Rachel but all you get at ratskep is reported for hurt fee fees when I show them up to be dipshites and make them embarrassed for their stupid opinions.rEvolutionist wrote:The greatest women were here, until they all deserted the place. When did you get over your hurt fee fees and hold an opinion that wasn't stupid?

I think that is the nearest I would ever come to understand the whole trigger warning stuff, it is like an old memory suddenly surfaced and she lost it. She just seemed to be the typical ratz member then when the A+ stuff come out she totally changed. I never met her in real life just on here, she ended up being banned from the A+ forums (quelle surprise.) I personally hope she comes back here, she will get as much support as an online community can give, which unfortunately isn't very much. She will find us welcoming and not so rabid as we make out (our bark is worse then our bite aka we don't bite.)Scott1328 wrote:I am given to understand that Maiforpeace was the bee's kneesPaula1 wrote:I have this same query. But it can't be true that the greatest women were here because Scot said that there used to be some great ones at Ratskep, and as we all know, he's never wrong. Ever, about anything.
