Jerome has been banned from Rat Skep and before that he was banned from International Skeptics that used to
be the old JREF forum. I am not aware of any where else that he has been banned from but there may be others
He might have been a troll but if so he was a benign rather than a malicious one. I did complain about it but that
did not go down well and I have decided to stay quite about such things from now on as that is not why I am there

What didn't go down well, was your self-righteous moralizing, and misrepresentation of facts.surreptitious57 wrote:Jerome has been banned from Rat Skep and before that he was banned from International Skeptics that used to

Jerome? banned? that's a surprise, I remember him as very softspoken for a dog botherer, but that was back in the RDF days...

He can be thoroughly insulting, and does let rip frequently enough at Mindromp at the moment. I stumbled across a post he wrote in 2009 where he mentioned the name of the firstSvartalf wrote:Jerome? banned? that's a surprise, I remember him as very softspoken for a dog botherer, but that was back in the RDF days...
forum he's ever been banned from. I gather his hobby is to regale atheist and sceptical communities with his flat earth (Yes. Really.) views, belief in young earth creationism and a whole raft of conspiracy theories.

Re: Rationalskepticism,lol part III.
Ah, yes. You are right. I just refreshed my memory via an RDF backup. The Jerome at RDF said his academic career was ended by TPTB when he became interested in paraspsychology, and he was indeed very softspoken. The other one was never a member there.JimC wrote:I think that maybe you are speaking of two different Jeromes...Hermit wrote:He can be thoroughly insulting, and does let rip frequently enough at Mindromp at the moment. Jerome (the 'good' one?) won the first Dawkins forum science writing competition, iirc.

Care to elaborate or our we suppose to just 'listen and believe' which is all the rage at ratskep nowadays.Scott1328 wrote:What didn't go down well, was your self-righteous moralizing, and misrepresentation of facts.surreptitious57 wrote:Jerome has been banned from Rat Skep and before that he was banned from International Skeptics that used to

Edit: Actually fuck it. I ask for information and surr57 supplied it. What the fuck is wrong with you? Do you seriously want to defend ratskep's decent into anti-free speech and atheist+ lite. How very sceptical of you.
