In some of my more malevolent moments I think of picking a random new person there and claiming here that they are my sock. I'd feel sorry for them, but it would highlight the absurdity that is their sock paranoia over there.

Actually, I just had a fun and more benign idea. I could start sockpuppets and post in the style of a previously banned user. So I could pretend to be Seth, and then at some point over here say "hey, that looks like a sock of seth". And then do it again with Tyrannical, or Rainbow or whoever else has been banned. Maybe I should do one and pretend to be DaveDodo while he is suspended

I don't think he is (if he was, it would mean Samsa was a sock master of years of hard work). But I reckon it would be pretty easy to convince the mods that he was. All so I could prove how silly their sock obsession is over there.

But I wouldn't actually do that. Unless I was very very drunk, perhaps...

Seriously though it would be piss easy to get someone banned as my sock, they ban people based entirely on suspicion and refuse to even look at evidence.

I think you would get further if you cut the smarmy politeness and just lay your cards on the table. You think the mods fucked up, you don't agree with the warning, and you think you were singled out.

You undercut yourself by coming over to Ratz and calling RatSkep a shithole and the moderators moronic, and then going back to RatSkep oozing a facade of sweet reasonableness. This tends to lead people to believe you are not posting in good faith. And that even politely worded questions are just agitating.
