Yeah - I considered that right from the outset, but Hermit suggested that tax-exempt organisations don't actually require that number. I'm not even an American citizen far less versed in tax laws and regulations, so it is rather Greek to me. :tea:
Uhm, don't forget this suggestiion: "It is of course possible that the RDFRS still is a charitable organisation, but not one operated exclusively for the purposes listed by the IRS." I feel a bit misrepresented (by omission).

I suppose when one considers one's 'duties' to revolve mostly around maintaining the air of one's own personal self-importance, along with one's status in Mr Dawkins's eyes - the rest is all just grotty minor details…

Oh, but no - let's give Elisabeth Cornwell her due. She mentions on her Facebook page that she "moved the Foundation headquarters to Washington, DC…"

Image

And I'm just left thinking fuck me, man - it must have been one hell of a logistical manoeuvre uprooting that UPS store and dragging it all the way from Virginia to Washington, DC… You know, it's quite possible that she just hasn't found a safe place to plant it yet, in Washington - or maybe she's just forgotten to update the address advertised on the site. I'm quite assured that she's really not a woman who'd play fast and loose with basic honesty and credibility like that!

Oh, well, okay - I just passed the above statement of hers through a new filter that translates her particular brand of PR-speak into plain English - and it turns out she performed no such mammoth task after all. Nah - it turns out that "I moved the Foundation headquarters to Washington, DC" actually translates roughly to something like "Richard got me a nice apartment in Washington, DC". Still - I'm sure it's just a mere oversight that RD.net happens to cite a UPS branch in Virginia as RDFRS HQ! She's still sound - I swear…

And don't you just have to stand back and admire, while you're here, at how effortlessly Richard manages to combine being a sugar daddy with running a charity devoted to reason and science? Hats off to them. Who are we to judge? I'm sure it's all working out fine!

And just to wind Svartalf up even more - he might want to have a peek at their old HQ, which was a prestige virtual office:

Still - I'm sure it must at least warm some of the cockles of your heart to see that they've been drastically downsizing the real-world edifices of their grandiose pretensions. :tea:

Uh, Heather? It looks like she used a UPS POB when she was in Colorado, and that now she uses one in the Arlington, Va Office (a full 15mn drive from Washington DC proper) now that her dick and balls has moved her to the East coast for lobbying and cunt access convenience.

That way, the headquarters don't have to be located at her personal home... I'm sure she'll change that as soon as the foundation gets real offices.

Indeed, and RDFRS still uses that same POB as their mailing address - probably attended to by her ex-husband Mike Cornwell, who reportedly still lives in Colorado.

Uh, what? RDFRS still has the same 'mailing address' as in 2010 (the Colorado UPS) - but the 'RDFRS headquarters' have changed from being a Regis virtual office in downtown Washington - to that UPS branch in Virginia.

To recap - current address details from RDFRS:

Heh - I just trawled through the archives, and it seems that the 'HQ' address was changed from the Colorado address (still in use), to the virtual office in downtown Washington, around the time of forumgate in 2010 (likely what she meant by "February this year") - and then later to this UPS store in Virginia, probably around the time that it began to dawn on them that not all of us were very excited about the changes after all… :hehe:

lordpasternack wrote:Yeah - but Seraph - a non-profit organisation is not the same thing as a tax-exempt organisation. There are plenty of non-profits that pay tax. RDFRS is/was not one of them. And I'm sure that what used to be at the foot of the page was a note of their 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. Does anyone know how I might access a web cache to see this? :tea:

All 501c3 organizations have EIN numbers. So, having one is not an indication of 501c3 status being revoked. http://www.irs.gov/charities/article/0, ... 67,00.html

Or then in some point Richard gets tired and eventually will reply/hire/shag/sue lordpasternack :nervous:

Although there's little chance that he has even followed the discussion.
