Whaaaaaat .... another breakaway forum? :what:

There's a doctoral thesis just waiting to be cooked up by someone who can convince their supervisor of the merits of a deep study into online forum dynamics. Of course, by the time they've finished it, things will have likely have changed completely again. :hehe:

Remind me... just what was TAF?

I understand that there was a lot of drama and whatnot that led to this place being created, but all this happened before I even got into the RDF, let alone before I was made aware that it was interesting here.
After all, you wouldn't permaban me for calling James Randi a disingenuous old fart, on excuse that he's a member here (even if he never posts and is not known to lurk regularly), a fact of which this poster was totally unaware, of course.

Watch it, Kev - if you give people ideas, one fine day you will find yourself named in an Acknowledgements section!
"The internet is made of people. People matter. This includes you. Stop trying to sell everything about yourself to everyone. Don’t just hammer away and repeat and talk at people—talk TO people. It’s organic. Make stuff for the internet that matters to you, even if it seems stupid. Do it because it’s good and feels important. Put up more cat pictures. Make more songs. Show your doodles. Give things away and take things that are free." - Maureen J
