So newcomers taking advantage of Ratz free speech policy (a too rare commodity even with atheist forums nowadays) are using Ratz as a toilet now? That is a rather bizarre take on the issue. As religious influence in politics is now waning in most of the Western world, the politics of the left, central and right was always going to be a new battleground until it reaches an equilibrium. The fact that a few posters can't stop making the political 'personal' shouldn't be used as a broad brush against the rest of us. Nobody ask the left to take up the censorious authoritarianism mantle from the religious right but take it up they did and it has to be tackled. Here is a good a place as any to counter it. Members still take part in the lighthearted threads but they are just few and far between them now.
