My guess is that he was abused by a spoon as a child, hence all the pent up rage at spoons and the intense desire to bend them. He wants them to feel the pain he felt when they hurt him.

This is fun. It does seem a bit unsporting, though. We are outnumbering him (although, we are only a bunch of trolls and jizz slingers). I wish he'd invite some of his sycophants and his frauline over here to even it up a bit.

If one examines the reasons why a membership is probationary one is faced with a choice: either accept subcultural discourse or conclude that probation serves to marginalize the Other. For a while I refused to reply to Cito with anything but quotes from the pomo generator. I guess the joke was on me though as he was apparently doing the same back to me.

When I finally realised that he actually believes that the word salads he keeps tossing up are somehow valuable morsels of information I stopped even skimming the froth.

It's not all bad, though. A positive feature about Cito's output is that it makes that of our own Audley Strange, who said himself that his own posts are on the edge of incoherence, look as if they had meaning.

I did the exact same thing! He posts with such arrogance and self-belief that every time I am absolutely convinced that there is some deeper meaning. I search and search for something beyond the dribble on the page and eventually I realise that the long convoluted meaningless wibble was designed just so that he could make one shitty pun. And I mean, they're not even good puns that could be appreciated.

It's like if we're talking about depositing money in the bank and he'll suddenly produce this mass of unrelated text just so he can say something along the lines of:

"...and that's why Marx riversed his position on communism, and now it flows better than Muddy Waters playing some delta blues".

Get it, because rivers have banks too and some of those words are related to rivers.

That is an egregious abuse of punnery. In fact, when it becomes this tortuously belaboured, it has well and truly left the domain of puns and entered the one of unabashed self indulgence. Good puns are direct. The briefer the better, and they should make sense in the context of the conversation they are employed as well as internally. At the risk of indulging in self-praise, I think this series of four puns in a single 20 word sentence is not a bad example of good punning.
