Wonder where I am.... I'm against abortion on principles, but I'm not going to interfere with the clinics or the women that use them

Why are you against it? Maybe we should also define "it".

I'm similar in as much as I believe that society should function to ameliorate and mitigate the conditions that force people to seek abortions on non-medical grounds. But at the same time some people find themselves pregnant who don't want to have kids, or don't want to have kids right then, and as babies are created out of the bodies of the wombed they have a right to autonomy and should be supported to make informed decisions that are right for them - and that they can live with. Basically it's a private matter for individuals, and so it doesn't really matter what I think.

I sometimes think about the abortion my ex had after we'd been together for 3 months. Had a different decision been made they'd be 36 now. But it was a choice made for the right reasons at the time and I don't harbour any regrets.

Is there a shortage of babies? No. No need to limit peoples' live in this manner.
