The substative motion is: It's not possible to be racist about islam because islam isn't a race

The statement is wrong.

Firstly, being black isn't a race either. Secondly, the term racism is nowaday generally used in a broader way meaning xenophobia.

Yeah but the point of the question is to debunk that construction. After all, words are defined by their usage. If people are using the word racism to describe islamophobia, no force in the universe can declare them to be wrong. Surely.

Islam doesn't meet the racists definition of "race". So it can't be racism. But it can be xenophobia/bigotry.

well, there's no such thing as race, so it is essentially defined by the racists. Traditionally it refers to the caucasians, asians, africans, and actually i don't know what else. Maybe Aborigines/PNGs and Lapeta people (polynesians etc)?

Islam is culturally expansionist and violent, and incompatible with the pacific ideals of post colonisation Western civilisation... we better eliminate its members except we're already invaded and they can carry the war in our own lands... I guess we're doomed, or it will be a looooong period to get rid of them.
