How would you pronounce Pwned?
I was just reading something on a web site and it occurred to me that there are a number of on-line words and phrases that actually exist more or less only in text form. We know what they mean and what they represent, ..well more or less, but many don't exist in any auditory sense.
Well - there you have it - tonight's insight from Guru Rumdas.

Re: How would you pronounce Pwned?
It's transliterated from the Greek Ρωηεδ, so it's pronounced Rooe'ed.

Re: How would you pronounce Pwned?
I've heard it pronounced during online gaming and the general consensus is that it is pronounced in the same way as owned but with a P - Pwned so phonetically pohned
It's interesting the story of it's origin can be traced back to a single spelling error on an online server!
