Regarding the bumps on the suits, I can't really imagine that they make that much difference. Consider that Sky usually have to sit at the front of the Peleton, so they are wearing more wind than each team further down the train. So while they might gain a small advantage, it is lost in the fact that they are always cutting through the wind for all the other teams.

The person who is most considered to be secretly on drugs in Chris Froome. He's a phenomenon. The power wattages he can output for certain sustained periods in the middle of torturous mountain climbs is off the charts. He's considerably ahead of most others. Nairo Quintana can match him at times, but Quintana was born and lived at 3000m in the Sth American Andes and rode up a serious mountain to school everyday because his parents couldn't afford the bus for him. Froome also grew up at altitude, I think, in Kenya.

Urrghh, sickening crash at full sprint speed about 100 metres out from the finish line. The Manx missile, Mark Cavendish, bit the bitumen hard and then a couple of other riders hit his prone carcass and went catapulting arse over tit straight into the bitumen. Horrific stuff..

Holy crap, they've kicked Sagan out for causing the crash! Can't say I'm happy about that. It didn't look like anything more than the usual use of elbows to hold one's position on the rode. And that was Robbie McKewan's (3 time Australian Tour de France green jersey (i.e. sprint) winner) view after the incident too. Sagan was going for a record 6th green jersey win in Paris. Not that this will make much of a dint in his career. He's still only about 13 and will probably win then next ten Tour de France sprint championships.

Sprinters are a suicidal race of idiots. On the Dutch Tour programme the general opinion was that the decision to kick out Sagan was too severe and several incidents were shown that no action was taken on. Their is code that all sprinters try to maintain but Sagan's elbows are always a point of contention. He is well known for using them.
