The jets beat the cards!
Now we are on a third string QB.

The Pope was today knocked down at the start of Christmas mass by a woman who hopped over the barriers. The woman was said to be, "Mentally unstable."
Which is probably why she went unnoticed among a crowd of Christians.

I am still reeling from that Giants loss to the 'skins.
The fucking Giants just never want to close it out. They always need to keep it close. A win on Sunday would have had them 2 games up on their nearest competitor, virtually locking a division win. What did they do -- find a way to lose to the Redskins, to keep the competition alive.

RGIII is a big hit here in DC Land. Expect to hear more from him in the coming years.
Not that I'm a Redskins fan though. Yecch.

Judging by the traffice around Lucas Oil Stadium today when the game let out, you'd think the Colts had lost! Those were some aggressive drivers! But, nope! They beat the Titans!

We danced.

This is how I know I'm not meant to live around where I live for the rest of my life: after six years here, I just don't care much about the Washington Redskins, or that they got beat in the playoffs a couple weeks ago. And I just don't care that the Baltimore Ravens made it to the Super Bowl tonight.
Some of my neighbors and co-workers will be going crazy over the Ravens for the next two weeks, but I'd rather see the 49ers win than the Ravens, for simple reason that I think San Francisco is a much nicer city than Baltimore. And I've never even been to 'Frisco.

I'll go for the ravens for the deep sense of gratitude that they beat the scummy 'pats.
GO RAVENS GO!

This is a surreal Super Bowl. San Francisco and Baltimore? Really? Not sure a single person predicted that.

If I had ignored the entire season and only watched during the last few weeks, then I might've predicted that San Fransisco would go to the bowl. They look pretty damn good.
And as much as I hate to say it, being from New England, the Ravens won convincingly over the Pats last night. They deserve their spot. But I wouldn't have picked them as Super Bowl-bound back in September.

Well that's weird. How does one run forward without lowering one's head?
And why don't they simply pad the outside of the helmets? I don't see why it is necessary for football helmets (or armor for that matter) to be so damn hard.

Pfft. American Football is for sissies.
Canadian Football: 3 downs - 200 yard field - 20 yards to first down - 50% less tampons.
