Said Peter...what you're requesting just isn't my bag
Said Daemon, who's sorry too, but y'see we didn't have no choice
And our hands they are many and we'd be of one voice
We've come all the way from Wigan to get up and state
Our case for survival before it's too late
Turn stone to bread, said Daemon Duncetan
Turn stone to bread right away...

You can't buy bread with bitcoin. Or beer.

You can pay someone to steal bread and beer for you though.

Pretty sure you can. There's the famous story about a guy who bought a pizza with bitcoin in 2012 or thereabouts when the price of bitcoin was in the cents. That pizza would be valued at about 300 million today.
Sent from my penis using wankertalk.

You can. In some places in Europe, there are ATMs in public places like kiosks or supermarkets where you can withdraw cash from your bitcoin wallet.
Fun fact: they caught a criminal this way because every transaction can be tracked. And they tracked ransom bitcoin to such a machine. And then went to the place and got recorded video of the people operating the machine, identified the person by the timestamp of his visit, published his photo. And so the person was identified.

Yes!
Guardian: A ransom payment of 75 Bitcoin was paid the day after the criminals locked up Colonial’s corporate network, according to Tom Robinson, co-founder of the cryptocurrency-tracking firm Elliptic. Prior to Robinson’s blog post, two people briefed on the case had confirmed the payment amount to AP.

Waitaminnit, YOU can get taxed on the bitcoins you spend to buy something, an action that is itself generating taxes?
Isn't this double taxation on the same event kind of problematic?
