There's nothing essentially wrong with the ideas behind "functional medicine", at least from what I understand about it. The basis is many diseases are caused or exacerbated by food. You are what you eat, which has a great deal of truth behind it. But they go too far with their visceral opposition to "alopathic" medicine, Big Pharma, GMOs, etc. Nobody mentioned chemtrails but it wouldn't surprise me. If I can change my diet and ameliorate the symptoms when I get a flare I'll jump all over that shit, but I'm not throwing out the steroids.
