Meninism - an alternative to Men's Rights Activism

Post by Forty Two » Wed Jul 15, 2015 4:33 pm

“When I was in college, I took a terrorism class. ... The thing that was interesting in the class was every time the professor said ‘Al Qaeda’ his shoulders went up, But you know, it is that you don’t say ‘America’ with an intensity, you don’t say ‘England’ with the intensity. You don’t say ‘the army’ with the intensity,” she continued. “... But you say these names [Al Qaeda] because you want that word to carry weight. You want it to be something.” - Ilhan Omar

This was just a prank. I thought this was the right site for pranks.

Besides, Ratskep is rather humorless, and unreceptive to controversial ideas. If I posted this over there, I'd be dogpiled and badgered by their self-appointed thought-police until a moderator got involved and froze the thread. They're like that over there.

Here you get a one sentence dismissal from Scumple. You're privileged - usually they make only the slightest sense to anyone but him.

I'd been led to believe that they've changed.

I don't know - basically, I've been posting there for a couple of weeks, and there are a group of self-appointed vigilantes who attack me. They get to call names and badger, and I have to be very careful not to react to them. If I react, the mods jump in right away. If I just ignore their digs and insults, then the conversation keeps going.... but, it's one long list of:

....I guess you didn't read the thread...
Oh, another strawman
You're trolling...
only an idiot would write that

And, other more veiled insults and backhanded comments. They can't just talk about stuff. If they think you are disagreeing, they come after you.

It was/is an insipid joke which should of lasted a week at the most. Though feminist are such humourless cunts with the self awareness of a rock it will provide the lulz for the lifespan of the sun.

He did once, but a girl criticised his moves.
