The reason I ask is going through the tourist part of the city the other day I spied a peculiar accordion player missing not only his legs but around a quarter of his torso above the hips. Couldn't figure it and was most peculiar. The next day going past the same spot I noticed he was sat on a drain cover? Was it a con? Is it possible to be missing parts above the hips? Should have toppled him like a wibbly-wobbly thing and seen what happens and maybe will next time?

Fuck, I did't know busking was illegal.
I used to busk in London, on Waterloo railway bridge, near the Festival Hall. There is a pedestrian walkway, alongside the rail lines, and you could make a lot of money quick, when the Festival Hall kicked out. I used to play slide guitar, plugged into a big Grundig Radio as an amp. It was a good laugh, but that was years and years ago.
