The Paranormal is one of the most exciting frontiers today. Research into Consciousness, Quantum Physics and Psychic Phenomena, etc. explores venues that is unlocking the mysteries of the universe and gateways to other dimensions or levels of reality and consciousness.
How are they researching consciousness when, to the best of my knowledge, nobody's even come up with an adequate definition of it yet? I'm all for the idea that there may be valid fields of inquiry which are currently closed off because we haven't any evidence of them yet, but pursuing such fields must be pretty tricky business absent such evidence.

I assess the odds of their success as slightly better than a hypothetical interstellar colonist deciding to settle an Earth-type world by heading away in a random direction without any sort of sensor technology. :shifty: Wow. I guess that settles any doubt that I'm a science fiction fan.

"The Scientific Committee Exposing Pseudo-Skeptical Cynicism of the Paranormal"

Hm, that title just doesnt work.

This is a classic case of "deflection by reflection", or, in the immoral words of Pee Wee Herman, "I know you are, but what am I?"

That guy is seriously full of shit but wordy enough to have all of the woo-merchants claiming him as the new messiah. Someone invite him here!
