You're up to date with everything, really, but you just started existing 5 seconds ago.

Philosophy shouldn't circumvent physical reality. Evolution, conception, development, growth, maturity, aging ... those things don't happen in 5 seconds ... not in the 5 seconds we currently conceive of and agree on.
