She was a paid lobbyist, paid as in to lobby her husband the Governor at the time. I'm sure she's not the only person to ever do something like that, but I have difficulty considering that anything short of a bribe. Just imagine if she stayed as a paid lobbyist when she was first lady........

"Paid lobbyist"...She did lobby incessantly from the White house. In support of her husband's famous Crime Bill, as one example.

I imagine she was quite the power broker as one of the top two or three attorneys in the state, and tapped right into the center of the state Democrat party machine.
Hillary taught criminal law, published substantial legal treatises on children's rights, advocated for children's charities and started charitable foundations, went to Indiana and was Jimmy Carter's field campaign director for the state, worked on the Watergate prosecution in Washington, married a superstar, represented Sam Walton...then became First Lady of Arkansas after campaigning for her husband.

Hillary's compartmentalization skills are the stuff of legend. If there was a criminal, civil, ethical case to be made in Arkansas or federal law or bylaw for bribery or undue influence, we all know she wouldn't be running for President here in 2016.

I read it as referring to the allegation, the fact of people being racist or sexist. Under Obama, if you were anti-Obama, you were, of course, racist. If Hillary is elected, to be anti-Hillary will be sexist.

Also, being a feminist is not the same as being anti-sexist. Plenty of feminists are sexist (not saying most, or all or whatever, but some) -- the ones that drink male tears, declare that men should be taxed more for being men, or side with Julie Bindel who wants to reduce the male population to 10% and keep them in "some kind of camp." or when they say that women simply can't be sexist (that statement itself is, by definition, sexist). That kind of thing.

I think he posted somewhere he'd vote trump over the bern, so I wouldn't be surprised if a 'reasonable' repugnican made his game facing the clinton.

Me, facing such a choice, I think I'd abstain, except against the trumpster, he's far too dangerous to let get in the seat, but the others, if hte country wants to inflict itself with that, let them.

Well, assuming you're referring to me, I'll take Trump over Hillary, but I'd take Hillary over Cruz. I would take Kasich over Hillary. Rubio is a non-factor at this point, but I would toss a coin as to Rubio and Hillary.

It's a mixed bag for me.

None of them is a good choice. The thing I most like about Trump is who is against him. When establishment folks are shitting themselves because a guy they haven't bought and paid for has a chance to get elected, that's nice to see. There is a reason some Republicans actually said out loud they'd take Clinton over Trump, and it's not some notion of the betterment of the country. It's because they know that she knows the rules of back scratching and pocket lining. The establishment Republicans have more power as an opposition to Hillary than under Trump, where they will have to kiss his ring. Trump is not beholden to them.

Did you hear the "hot mic" episode that just occurred when Hillary was talking to Chris Matthews of MSNBC. They were speculating what Chris Christie was thinking in coming out to support Trump. One thing Hillary said was very telling. She asked "Did he have a debt?" quite the poignant question to ask. She speculated whether Chris Christie owed Trump something. It's all payola, carrots and sticks. If you are a guy who owes allegiance to the voters, and not to moneyed interests or other politicians, that's a whole different ballgame, isn't it?
