And despite us asking you MULTIPLE times for some of these alleged quotes that are there for everyone to see, you haven't provided one single quote to back up your bollocks. We even started a poll to prove you wrong, and prove you totally wrong, as usual, it id. You are a dishonest cunt. Please fuck off to dishonestcunts.com/forum.

Except that you never once have. You've never provided a single shred of evidence. In fact you've flat out ignored evidence to the contrary. You're a lying liar.

Seth, if you say that an atheist is someone with "no belief in a god" (which I don't disagree with), and then you say you are not an atheist, then logically you are implying that you have a belief in a god, not just the possibility of one... (remembering that this definition of atheism is not "a belief that there is no god")

Which god, BTW?

Thor?

Baal?

Zeus?

Jehova?

Welln if there's one, why not more... It's damn funny how we go in the babble from one god among many trying desperately to prevent his worshipper base from looking elsewhere to a unique divine being with no rivals at all...

Unfortunately, I've got no proof for divine beings, any of them, I so would like to have the security of somebody I could placate...

I would not be speaking for Seth.
(Lord knows I wouldn't)

It makes you someone who lacks a belief that there are no gods. You could still be either an atheist or a theist at that point.

Yes.

Seth and his ilk always assume that atheists have a belief there are no gods.

This is a misunderstanding of the word "belief"

One can live one's life under the working assumption that there is no supernatural being, notice that there is no observational evidence for such a being, and understand that the natural universe can be explained with no recourse to the supernatural without making a definite, 100% claim that there is no god.

Or gods...

I don't believe there are no gods, I just don't believe theists when they say there is a God. I don't believe Hindus when they say Vishnu or Ganesh exists, or Pagans when they say Herne the Hunter exists either. I don't believe any person or group who says that a supernatural entity has influence over them and their lives, and I definitely don't feel obliged to take them at there word or show them some special kind of respect or give them some special privileges just because they say that what they believe in is special and important. That makes me an atheist. A no-theist.

Perhaps when people who don't believe what others say on behalf of a god or gods are also reluctant to self-identify as 'atheist' its because doing so is stigmatised in there community. They avoid saying they're an atheist for an easy life, just to get by without a fuss. I know that I did that as part of a congregation for a few years myself. It was just easier to dodge the issue.

When it comes to my beliefs in a god or gods, well there's nothing in what the true believers have had to say that I've found compelling enough to sign back up. But although I'm happy to admit that I just don't know if that special kind of supernatural entity exists, whichever one it is that others seem so keen to agree and disagree with each other about, I'm not inclined to follow any creed or cause rooted in the assumption that they do exist. Quite frankly, I've got better things to do with my time than devote it to following the special rules of an assumed special entity promoted by a special group as necessary for a special, favor-currying, proper, or good life.

If a god or gods exist they seem to be ignoring us. I'm happy to return the favor until a time when they actually get around to doing stuff. And in the meantime I'm not shy or ashamed of saying that I don't believe in God, or any god or gods whenever that crops up.

I don't know about gods either, they might exist, but I've seen no evidence for any of them, don't need them to explain the universe either, and I know that whatever gods exist and influence my life, they are not good or worthy of veneration.

Actually Agnostic.

Maybe they exist in the reality of the Hindu, or the Pagan or whatever.
