I find it quite amusing that there is no talk of "floor fights" in the Democratic nomination process. When Trump was way ahead of Cruz, all we heard was how they were going to take it to the floor of the convention if Trump didn't get enough to "clinch" a first ballot win. Well, Hillary does not have enough to "clinch," and the media runs around saying she already has clinched it. She has the "superdelegates", they say, but the definition of a superdelegate includes that they are not committed until they vote at the convention. They may declare who they are supporting now, but they are not required to hold that position.

Hillary -- still in a fight for the nomination - media declares a victory.

Trump - has clinched the first round ballot win, but the media keeps on about how he might still have it taken from him, because they may change the rules at the convention.
“When I was in college, I took a terrorism class. ... The thing that was interesting in the class was every time the professor said ‘Al Qaeda’ his shoulders went up, But you know, it is that you don’t say ‘America’ with an intensity, you don’t say ‘England’ with the intensity. You don’t say ‘the army’ with the intensity,” she continued. “... But you say these names [Al Qaeda] because you want that word to carry weight. You want it to be something.” - Ilhan Omar

Who are they going to vote for? Most are more aware of Bernie's ultimate unelectability than even you...

You present this as if it were a narrative created by the media. The media is reporting what is occurring, not manufacturing it out of thin air. If there were any movement in the Democratic party to challenge Clinton's nomination, the media would be reporting it. Contrary to your fanciful description, Clinton is not in a "fight for the nomination" at this point. Sanders is no longer talking about a "steep climb" or a "hard path" for his nomination--he's acknowledged that it's unlikely he'll be the nominee, and though he hasn't suspended his campaign per se, he has in effect stopped competing with Clinton.

In the case of Trump, there is definitely talk among Republican party members of attempting to challenge his nomination. While it's extremely unlikely that anybody but Trump will be nominated, the media are not inventing the rumbles about the possible challenge to Trump's nomination.

Do you believe that these are not factual reports, but are actually fabrications by "the media"?

Actually, you're much more wrong than you understand. The Lamestream media is indeed fabricating all sorts of nonsense and what it doesn't fabricate it spins towards liberalism.

No it wouldn't. The Lamestream media is in the bag for Hillary and has been since before Obama was elected.

The reason Bernie's staying in the race is because Hillary may well end up in jail before she gets nominated or elected, which means Bernie wins by default. We can only hope this comes to pass because of the two, Bernie is the most toothless and ineffective candidate, much like Jimmy Carter, and will get absolutely nothing through either side of Congress.

They may not be inventing them, but they are blowing them far out of proportion while licking Hillary's clit every single day.

They are effectively fabrications. It's called "Liberal Spin."

:funny: Thanks, that "lamestream media" wingnut "witticism" always cheers me up. So, they're "effectively" fabricating stuff, eh? Why don't you cite some examples of the "effectively" fabricated stories being reported in the media?

It's even worse than that. In the space of two sentences he says "They may not be inventing them" and "They are effectively fabrications". Logical consistency has never been a strong point of Seth's posts.. :hehe:

Ummm, you must not have been paying attention to comrade Bernie's supporters, they have a floor riot planned. And the far left like Huffington Post have called for Hillary to be indicted, to give the nomination to Bernie.

I saw a report that some of your crowd, T, are going to be there to provide unofficial private security for Trump supporters. I can't remember their name exactly, but it was something like National Progressive something something. Neo-Nazi's basically. Could be a fun convention. Should be plenty of violence and maybe even a shooting or two! :awesome:

All I could find was this........
Chris Cox, organizer for his 30,000-member group, “Bikers for Trump”, watched on TV demonstrators clash with Trump supporters at the Chicago rally of March 12 and realized he could help his favorite candidate. He would “transform” his pro-Trump group into a “volunteer security force, patrolling Trump’s events.” They would identify protesters, form barriers to protect Trump supporters and, backing up local police, remove unwanted attendees.
“Lions of Trump – Defenders of Freedom” is an “informal civilian group dedicated to the safety and security of #Trump supporters by exposing Far-Left rioters,” its web site explains. They stress their role is to help police, Secret Service and “Mr. Trump’s security” uphold laws prohibiting unlawful trespass “inside a private event paid for by Mr. Trump’s campaign.”

Hillary has a date planned :pr5:

http://dailycaller.com/2016/07/01/exclu ... -saturday/
Former Sec. of State Hillary Clinton is scheduled to meet Saturday with the FBI, a source close to the investigation into her private email server tells The Daily Caller.
The source went on to suggest the interview may take place at her Washington, D.C. home.
The bureau’s interview with the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee is believed to be the final step in its investigation into the potential mishandling of classified information on Clinton’s private email server.
The meeting comes in the midst of a controversy involving another meeting — this one a secret conclave between Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton. The pair met on Lynch’s airplane on the tarmac of Phoenix’s Sky Harbor International Airport on Monday.
Lynch claimed that Clinton initiated the meeting and that the pair talked for around a half hour. She has claimed that they discussed Clinton’s grandchildren, their travels, and former Attorney General Janet Reno, who served in Clinton’s administration.
She disclosed the meeting only after reporters asked her about it on Wednesday.
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

I hear Cruz and Romney are going to force Trump to adopt their positions too. It's going to be terrific. Praise the Lord.

Possibly you heard about the statement from the "Traditionalist Worker Party".
Traditionalist Worker Party spokesman Matt Parrott, who blamed the anti-fascists for the riot, said about 30 members of his group would come to Cleveland.

“We’re essentially just going to show up and make sure that the Donald Trump supporters are defended from the leftist thugs,” he said.
