Man you know how to miss a point. The point wasn't that you should change your vote because his polls are falling. The point was the reasons behind why his polls are falling, and whether you still support him given his increasingly bizarre campaign and pronouncements.

Well, you didn't identify reasons. All I posted was the very reliable polling sources (PEC and 538) which show he's very likely to lose. There were no reasons given. Further, it's not evident that his polls are falling. PEC and 538 have consistently had Hillary as overwhelmingly likely to win. His polls are back and forth, and he's recently been polled at 8 or 10% behind, 1% behind or dead even.

The PEC and 538 analyses are not really governed by the polls per se. They're looking at state by state electoral maps, together with meta-analysis of myriad polls, coupled with statistical analysis of a broad range of numbers to come up with a probability of winning. I.e. 538 has Hillary 89% likely to win. That's not saying she is polling at 89% now. It doesn't take much of a shift in poll numbers to make a difference in 538's prediction on likelihood of victory.

Before I can "miss" a point, you have to actually try to "make" a point.

I find his policy positions much better than Clinton's policy positions. I think he's made some bad judgment calls on picking snippy battles with that douchebag Khan who spoke at Hillary's convention, and such. It makes me question his judgment, and it makes me cringe because he is not playing the part and looking presidential. He sometimes gives ammo to his opponents by making comments that are easy for them to twist and portray in the light least favorable to him. These are things he should be able to easily prevent, and he doesn't. He flaps his gums too much. And, I don't like how he's taking the WWE form of election campaigning to a new level.

That being said, Hillary is a liar, a cheat, a scam artist, and I don't trust a single word she says. When she says she is for or against the TPP, I really don't know if she's telling the truth. When Trump says he's against it, I believe him. In other words, there is nothing Hillary promises that I think she will follow through on, or that she will even admit later that she promised.

Hillary is pro-war, and is far more hawkish than Trump in general. Trump focuses on ISIS, and claims he will go after that group hard. Hillary does not, but she does support military intervention around the world - and has been in favor of every, single military intervention of the US since Vietnam (and probably including Vietnam, although I have not found anything either way).

She is in favor of developing battlefiled nuclear weapons (tactical nukes). Trump was castigated for asking "why can't we use them?" And, then saying "well, if we can't use them, why are we making them?" And, these are fair questions. The media, which hates Trump, portrayed this as some sort of pro-nuking-people position that Trump holds. However, why are they not asking Hillary why she supports tactical nukes? Does she plan to make them but not have them available for use? What's that all about?

Trump wants to get rid of Obamacare and replace it, and that needs to be done. I'm a family of 4 and my insurance is going up again - for medical insurance, Obamacare has made shore that I'm paying $1200 per month now, and in January, that is going up to around $1500 per month. It's back breaking. With the same four people in 2013 (before the Obamacare requirements kicked in), it was $695 pr month for the same coverages and deductibles.

Trump wants to renegotiate our trade deals with China and Mexico, and other countries. This is really necessary, because the US manufacturing base is nearly gone. Once we're past the tipping point, if we're not already, then it can't come back. We cannot, in my view, survive as a leading nation without an industrial and manufacturing base. In time, the money will follow the manufacturing and industry -- the world will not allow the US to be the cloud city of Stratos while the troglytes do all the hard work.

Eventually, the people doing all the mining and hard work are going to wonder why they should be supporting the people who push paper and do watercolor painting all day... the money train will disappear when the US has nothing to offer but actors, painters and paper pushers.

You don’t say ‘the army’ with the intensity,” she continued. “... But you say these names [Al Qaeda] because you want that word to carry weight. You want it to be something.” - Ilhan Omar

That's not just an opinion, it's history.

Maybe that's why we continue to spend more on the military than all the bastids. :read:

I know I didn't identify them. That's the point about you missing obvious points. Everyone, except you it seems, knows why Trump is tanking.

I think he finally realized "Jesus Fuck, I might be the goddamn President!', and decided he doesn't really want that. Damned if I would.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

I doubt it. If you're a megalomaniacal narcissist like Trump, the top job is the ultimate. The guy is a poorly educated fruitloop, who appeals to poorly educated fruitloops.

Trump is not going to do shit with healthcare. Or anything else. None of his plans will go anywhere. No backing in congress. Healthcare is not a free market. Never was. Doctors can charge you what they want. There is no budget healthcare.

But those people working in the mines NEED or crappy movies, like the new Star Trek.
