Well sure, the sjw's have no problem with comments on a woman's appearance, shaming, calling her a cunt, attacking sexuality, etc., if it's directed at someone they say is on the right.pErvin wrote:

No, the leftists behind the movement to impose these requirements have censorious intent. Foot in the door, then you'll see. The same shit was said in the US. Oh, it's just small little things here - just protecting against clear hate speech and protecting people with traumatic mental issues from having to be triggered and relive their trauma..... and, then they start in on the curriculum, because students start pointing out that literature and other materials often run afoul of the very broad, all-encompassing "microaggressions."pErvin wrote:That's a nice opinion. 42, you are very fond of thin end of the wedge theories.
Problem is, that at least some of the time the thin end breaks due to lack of support, and yet another marxist conspiracy withers on the vine...

Re: Problematic Stuff
The thing is, with respect to the college campus folks, there is no sign of them withering away. The college administrators and leftist faculty members are all for it. The fact that most of the college students aren't, yet, on board, is just proof that there is so much work to be done to defeat the racist, capitalist, misogynist patriarchy.JimC wrote:42, you are very fond of thin end of the wedge theories.

And, there is a neo-Marxist movement in academia and growing elsewhere. It's based on an attachment to postmodernism nested in a bed of Marxist thought. That is not to say that most folks in the movement really understand those philosophies, or think they are red guard soldiers, etc. It's that they've been steeped in these thought processes for so long that they don't even notice they're engaging in it. Like, when they adopt marxist class struggle analysis and apply it to races and sexes and genders. I don't suggest that they are knowingly advancing Marxist thought. That's giving most of them more credit than they deserve. But, they think in terms of classes and oppression/oppressor because that's what they've been steeped in.

Japan completed its annual whale hunt... https://www.yahoo.com/news/japan-kills- ... 17729.html
Some intolerant western racists are trying to impose western values on the Japanese. Japanese culture involves a tradition of whale hunting, and in their milieu whale hunting is good and moral. Who are we to say that whale hunting is immoral and bad? As a marginalized people, Asians deserve to be protected from traditional colonial thinking which attempts to dictate to the oppressed...

Asians aren't marginalized. There's billions of them and they own half the world.

According to the Progressive Stack, they are marginalized, and you are denying them their humanity if you say otherwise.

tell that to the Chinese in France... there's a whole hullaballoo now because police killed a Chinese man recently, supposedly in self defenceNineBerry wrote:Asians aren't marginalized. There's billions of them and they own half the world.
But Asians are subject to a whole range of racist behaviors that go mostly unnoticed because they are not that many in the country and they don't open their big mouth like tha ayrabs and niggers do.

I heard white people were marginalized in China. Does cross-marginalization cancel each other out?

Oh, o.k. I'm sure the discrimination in western countries against asians is way worse than the discrimination in asia against non-asians... I know Japan is an open, welcoming society where non-Japanese are highly thought of. Mixed race kids are practically worshiped as incarnations of the divine.
