Rasmussen did say Mitt Romney would win the last election though. They made changes and they where more accurate in the 2014 elections. It is still better to subtract 2 points from any republican candidate though. Considering that Jill Stein appears to be drawing away some of the Sanders supporters and Gary Johnson may be able to make the debates (he's up to 13% in some polls with 15% being the magic number), I would not discount the impact that third parties will have this election cycle.

Agreed, but third parties are always seemingly more influential several months ahead of the election than they are on election day. People want to express their support for the third party, but when it comes time to vote they will often vote for the less of the two most viable evils.
