It is not enough to be a bad comedian. To be a successful maths teacher, you actually need to be a pretty good comedian but deliberately tell appallingly bad jokes in the most groanworthy manner possible. There are bonus points for sneaking a bit of maths into them - puns on "Sine" and "Log" are particularly popular.
