Thank you. Found the critter. Quite an erudite character, but rather pedantic & labored in compositions; zooms in on individual trees.

Whereas Galaxian is a generalist; cuts away the undergrowth, looks at the overall forest & is not pedantic... lets minor infractions pass so as to focus on the essential objective.

So, in this post, http://rationalia.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... 0#p1642039 Exi5stentialist misses the possibility that there's more going on behind the scenes in forums than the obvious rules or FUA. As a case in point, Galaxian was suspended for following moderator advice in how to compose a post. Indeed I copied the moderator's sentence word for word, and was suspended for several months.

And later, my ban from RatSkep was based on nothing in the FUA, but simply being a contrarian & anti-establishment figure; holding a mirror up to social mantras & killing sacred cows. Whereas Exi5tentialist thinks that organizations such as forums can, theoretically, have good & fair governance, forgetting that maybe some have been set up by ruling powers for a purpose, a sinister agenda, as honeypots, as distractions, as relief valves & to keep tabs on potential troublemakers, as propaganda disseminators using paid or 'useful idiot' members, & so forth. 'Nuf said.
