Well not really. He says he hates the insistence of identifying themselves through their racial identity. Personally being proud of who one is as a result of accident of birth has always struck me as ludicrous and downright silly, so I kind of agree. That is not to say I (or Andrew I imagine) hate all people of that ethnic origin surely?
