How is asking her to embrace her ethnic heritage racist? I thought that was the politically correct thing to do :{D
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

It's not an overt conspiracy. It's that the political leanings of the folks doing the reporting and making the editorial and programming decisions are such that when it's a Trump supporter doing something, he "cold cocks" or "attacks" someone. When it's hundreds of "protesters" rolling cop cars, swinging, throwing rocks, throwing eggs, and beating people up, then "violence breaks out" at a Trump rally, and Trumps rhetoric has incited violence....

The coverage of riots against Trump has been minimal, compared to a couple of incidents of Trump supporters swinging at someone, which ends up getting on a loop on major media, over, and over, and over again.

I'm guessing it's because a line can be drawn between Trump's hateful rhetoric and his hateful supporters.

Trump dumps presidential style to lambast Elizabeth Warren as 'Pocahontas'
Presumptive Republican nominee throws out the teleprompter to deliver a vintage speech high in bombast and bluster in Virginia

Donald Trump’s general election pivot didn’t last very long.

After giving two speeches with teleprompters this week, Trump returned to his unscripted style in a rally in Richmond, Virginia on Friday. In a barely one-third-full arena, he repeatedly called Elizabeth Warren “Pocahontas”, attacked former rival Jeb Bush and complained “New York City is going with the Norwegian form of education”.

After a week where Trump strained to appear more presidential, it all went out the window in a vintage performance, which even featured a handful of protesters being arrested outside the event.

Yeah, he shouldn't have let her draw him out. Her speeches have been full of invective and personal insult, and he reacted. Of course, he's to blame. She can say what she wants about him, but he should remain silent.

The Pocahontas name pokes fun at her "cultural appropriation" of native American heritage. She lied and claimed to be native American, which helped secure her a position at Harvard. She is not at all native American, and only claims that people in her family thought they had native American heritage somewhere because of their high cheekbones. How she's allowed to get away with that. It's George-W-Bushian in its absurdity. I can see it said in a Texas accent -- "Ah, aym pahrt native 'ummerican. Gramma Bush used ta tell us around the campfahre that we was Indians cuz of our high cheekbones...."
“I have lived in a family that has talked about Native America, talked about tribes, since I’ve been a little girl,” she said. “I still have a picture on my mantle at home, and it’s a picture of my mother’s dad, a picture of my grandfather, and my Aunt Bee has walked by that picture at least a 1000 times, remarked that her father, my Pappa, had high cheekbones, like all of the Indians do, because that’s how she saw it, and your mother got those same great cheekbones, and I didn’t. And she though this was the bad deal she had gotten in life. Being Native American has been a part of my story, I guess since the day I was born, I don’t know any other way to describe it.”

But, according to an unsubstantiated, third-hand report, she did have great, great, great grandmother who may have been Cherokee. That's apparently enough. 1/32....lol. http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/arc ... at/257415/

She claims to be a Native American based on family lore. LOL. So, she "identifies as" native American, I guess. :funny:

Elizabeth Warren's "class" includes claiming to be native American when she has only the (alleged) statements from her grandmother that family rumor had it that they were of native American decent....

There is no other evidence, of any kind that has been produced to prove it. And, I suppose if she wanted to she should be able to do a DNA test to see if she has a marker.

But what does her alleged Native American heritage have to do with Trump and him running for president?

LOL. That's why his rallies are almost always completely peaceful, except when "protesters" show up and do what Progressives do best, interfere, disrupt, shout in people's faces and provoke.... perhaps the direct line is from the actions and hateful words of the "protesters" and the hateful Trump supporters? It's the "protesters" rhetoric that is inciting violence. They should really be shut up.

When she injects herself into the campaign as a mouthpiece for Clinton, then it's relevant. She's out there hurling insults and giving anti-Trump speeches. If you want to throw punches, you can expect to be punched back. I know that's not very Progressive, because, well, a female Cherokee is right there at the top of the Progressive Stack, and she is allowed to "punch up" against the white CIS male, Trump, but he's a hateful bully when he "punches down" against the poor native American woman....

It's more a case of further showcasing his immaturity. I'm not sure what Warren has said (although, I'm sure you'll now provide me with a wall of text pointing it out), but she's not running for president, he is. He's a man-child. Although, that apparently has a certain level of appeal to dumb white trash.

You can google it. She's been on the podium over the last week or two, shilling for Clinton, and pretending to be some sort of Progressive firebrand out there laying into Trump. When someone does that, they are fair game themselves. She's not running for office, but she's on the team of the one running for office and playing attack dog against the opposition.

So you and the white trash are happy that you have a man-child running for president. Good for you!

Given the alternatives in the offing, there is no choice.

I disagree, of course. I'm no fan of Hillary, but you can largely work out how she would react in a crisis, as she's an adult with experience in dealing with serious international issues. Trump has the maturity level (and bureaucratic knowledge) of a teenager, so there's simply no way to know what he would do in a crisis. He's off the reservation. If nothing major happened in his presidency, it might be a fairly innocuous term. But if something goes wrong, then anything could happen. And that's a scary thing regarding the world's biggest military and (sort of) economic power.
