Hillary is not much better.
Sounds like if you have two horrible choices, one being (personality-wise) not much better than the other, the issue might come down to policy and the issues one considers most important.
A lot of people who hate HRC for the wrong reasons are starting to hate Donald Trump for all the right reasons.
Trump, he is who he is. He won't let that Mexican American judge thing go, after Ryan, Gingrich, and McConnell publicly admonished him for it. When in American history has that ever happened to the presumed nominee? But he won't shut up. It's not his nature.
But he's losing control of his message. Up through the primary, he was selling his inane ideas. Lately, he seems to be spending a lot of time sniveling about how he's being railroaded by the press and Mexicans. He's ducking even basic policy questions because he comes off like a lightweight bullshitter. Now he's gone full retard by insanely claiming bigoted white men can't be judged by men of color, and then topped it off by making thinly veiled threats about how he's going to get even with his various enemies once he's king of America. He's already tired and it's going to be a long hot summer. Trump Party kingpins are shitting themselves because they are going to lose control of the Senate and a big chunk of the House thanks to Big Mouth.
This Presidential election is already over. It's now about coattails and making government function again.
