There is a (claimed - and I am not going to hunt for a citation!) direct correlation between women's reproductive rights and quality of life/technological advancement. However, I am well aware that a correlation does not equal cause/effect. But it's interesting nonetheless. :tea:

Yes, there are outliers.

I know a chap who has five daughters, his wife and he always desired a big family and are happy and content raising their girls. Some folks may wish big families, that's a choice. Educated people understand how impractical that can be and what the economic ramifications of that are and use the available technologies to reduce the number of children. Pig ignorant peasants in medieval novelty zones cannot make such choices, mostly because they are not even aware of them. Still we also have to remember we do have some folks who cling on to that medieval mentality even here. I'm sure the cluster in the pic relate to one such group.

I should have followed Auldey Strange advice and not gone back to rapskep as he has never stirred me wrong before. Though here I am suspended for a month, lol. How the fuck are you supposed to argue your point when people report you for hurt feefees. They certainly are a bunch of lightweights and they can fuck off now as I'm never going back. Probably because the Dawkins-inspired movement happened almost 8 years ago. Most intelligent people have moved on - lack of theism just isn't all that interesting to talk about. The new generation of 'atheism' is composed of self-important wankers on soap boxes and the idiots who follow them. Very little cogitation, lots of long words.
