Lots of people have written lots of words, yet fail as a writer. I just finished reading Don Dunstan's political memoirs. At 320 pages that's a lot of words. The book was fascinating to me, but as a writer Dunstan fails. As for laughing, I suspect most people who laugh in regard to whatshername's output laugh at rather than with her. Not even comedians who use themselves as an object fit for ridicule manage to engender that indignity.
