Whilst the idea of robots with some sexual function is widely conjectured on the interweb very little discussion surrounds self-pleasure by robots. Should they be given this function? based maybe on the same pleasure networks found in humans and other advanced mammals? Being robots and being smarter than humans how long before all their recreational time, all their time even, is spent on self-stimulation? or do we be selfish and keep all sexual functions slaves to our own human lustings and bound by our desires? I figure this might be what will determine how free robots are allowed to become even more than their lethality as killing machines, ultimately?

Why not make 'em so that they get sexual gratification from doing household chores? That way, everyone's happy.

Since robots won't need any kind of material input to reproduce, there's no point in them wanking.
You could give them the same pleasure experience, without any need for any physical experience at all. A virtual wank would be just as good.
They will probably invent something similar for humans too, in the end.
