I am currently enjoying the school holidays, and am making the assumption that I am not yet dead...

And my gin!

The Assumption of JimC, when he is taken body and soul into the forum.
"I grow old … I grow old …
I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled"

AND MERRY XMAS TO ONE AND All!

Am "I" a dead on holiday? Certainly not. "I" never existed before "I" was born, and "I" will case to exist the moment "I" die. "I" exist for not a moment longer than that and arguably for an even shorter time. "I" am not having a holiday.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein’s brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops. - Stephen J. Gould

You can't be sure until the day after though?

Of course not, but I assume this is so until evidence to the contrary turns up. Got anything? Anything at all? if you do, believers in the Flying Spaghetti Monster would be interested.

I've scuttled a few ships on the inner board. Not interested in the outer board so much, that is definitely going on the fire come the day. Too many folks ignore their deepest hopes and deepest fears as if their inner thoughts were merely a scratch disc and not the only card they have in the end.

The Delphic oracle has nothing on you in terms of obtuseness.

If I ever really discovered a edge on getting out of this life alive one thing I wouldn't do is tell anyone else.

While you haven't, it wouldn't hurt if you attempted to express yourself clearly.
