I got off with the prettiest, sexiest girl I've ever seen once. She'd split with her long-time boyfriend.
She was always telling me what an asshole he was.

Late one night, I saw him in a night-club with some scrubber.
I told her next time I saw her, thinking it would put her off him even more.
She went dead quiet, I knew something was wrong.

Bang, it was all over, and she went back to him. She told me later, she didn't want him, but she couldn't stand the thought of anyone else having him.

I made the mistake of thinking of her as logical.
Duuuuuuuh, trying to be too clever by half.
Definitely.

Mind you, she would have found out anyway, and I did pull her again, for a quickie, a few weeks before they got married. Not all bad.
While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.

Our kids were designated gifted, so they got a special class in middle school. We learned that gifted kids feel the pain of the world. :prof:

You'll never know. :tea:
:hehe:
Too mice fell into a vat of milk. The smart mouse knew he'd drown in the milk, gave up. That mouse drowned. But the other mouse being dumb as shit....kept swimming around in circles in the vat of milk. After a couple of days the milk curdled and as it hardened into cheese he found he could climb on it and out of the vat. I'll keep swimming in circles and wait and see what happens.... :read:
Obviously your "smart mouse" mouse wasn't very smart. On the contrary he didn't know enough, and what's worse, he was way too confident in his own knowledge. This is a well known thing, usually referred to as the Dunning-Krueger effect. Dumbasses usually think they are much cleverer than they are. :prof:
I will refer the forum to the OP as evidence of this. :coffee:
