I was playing Plague Inc. a game I believe Crumple mentioned. It's actually fun to engineer a disease to wipe out all life on earth.

If you're looking for a fix after BOTW you could try this.

This game actually took me away from BOTW for a time last year.

Playing this video game called Rime. Extraordinarily beautiful. Depressing as hell. But beautiful. Maybe it's depressingly beautiful? Beautifully depressing? Hmm...

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

Is that on the Switch Tat?

The trailers make it look beautiful, though the music is a tad gloomy. Good reviews too!

It's not exclusively a Switch game, but I'm playing it on my Switch :{D

To be honest, I don't really know what the music sounds like. I suppose I should adjust the game settings and turn it up so I can hear it over the sound of the dehumidifier that runs constantly down here in the basement

And the game is remarkably beautiful... but melancholy. Very melancholy. But I like melancholy. I also like the fact that this is not a fighting game. There are no enemies to defeat. At all. It's strictly environmental puzzles, along with the story unfolding bit by bit.

Nintendo have done it again. This game is just brilliant across the board. Gameplay, acting, soundtrack, design.

Finally started playing The Last Guardian. What took me so long? I'm an idiot, that's what took me so long.

Unlike previous Zelda games, I have zero interest in replaying Breath of the Wild, as much as I liked it. So I played The Last Guardian a few times. I started Sea of Solitude, which looked great from the previews I'd seen but turned out to be complete shit. So abandoned that very early on. Have now started Fallout 4.

City Skylines

I used to play Sim City as a kid and I came across this game yesterday that reminded me of that. It's a decent way to kill some of the time on lock down.

It was interesting but totally useless for the European scene. It is totally car orientated. I even designed Dutch roads in it but cyclists just dont count. Giving right of way to cyclists was impossible. The metro/subway is interesting. My biggest city was 5 million inhabitants. Make sure your gear is up to scratch.

It still fails in comparison with professional micro modelling systems. They are much more fun.

I've never seen a professional system, I'm sure it's fascinating.

I meant to mention somewhere that I watched a talk by an ag scientist who claimed the US was at least 20 years behind the Dutch when it comes to crop production! --fhakin' Dutch

Yep they are but they are not games though and modelling a whole city takes months using a large team. Plus all the data collection.

The programme we used (SiAS Paramics) was developed in Edinburgh. :smug:
